Christ Central School, Thiruvalla

Christ Central School, Thiruvalla, celebrated Merit Day 2026 with great enthusiasm, honouring the outstanding academic achievements and accomplishments of its students, especially the CBSE Class X and XII Toppers.

The programme commenced with a prayer song by the School Choir, followed by a vibrant welcome dance by Kumari Dhyuthi Ajith & Group and the welcome speech by Alakananda K G. The Presidential Address was delivered by Rev. Dr James Mullassery CMI, Principal, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and inaugural address by Dr Ancy Joseph, Chief Guest.

The celebration continued with the Prize Distribution Ceremony, felicitation by Mrs Remya Krishnan, Staff Representative, and the Valedictorian Speech by Kumari Asmi Bai H. The audience was also treated to a solo performance by Prarthana S and a group dance by Kumari Noya Anil & Group.

Rev. Fr Tom Karuthedam CMI, Bursar, presented the mementos, while Kumari Esha Anish delivered the Vote of Thanks. The event concluded with the School Anthem, presented by the School Choir.

Merit Day 2026 was a memorable celebration of excellence, dedication and the achievements of the young scholars of Christ Central School.
