CHRIST CHALLENGE TROPHY 2026

Christ Central School, Muthoor, Thiruvalla, hosted the 11th All Kerala Inter-School Basketball Tournament – Christ Challenge Trophy, in memory of Rev. Fr. Kurian Muchakodiyil CMI, from 11–14 September 2026. The tournament brought together talented young basketball players from across Kerala, providing a vibrant platform to showcase skill, teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship. The event featured spirited matches, enthusiastic participation and intense competition across the Kids, Senior Girls and Senior Boys categories. The tournament was inaugurated on 11 September by Mrs. Poojamol K. S., International Basketball Player, in the presence of Rev. Fr. Tom Karuthedam CMI, Bursar, school authorities, dignitaries, teachers and students. The tournament concluded with the Valedictory Function on 14 September, graced by Mrs. Lekha S., Municipal Chairperson, Thiruvalla, with Rev. Dr. James Mullassery CMI, Principal, presiding. Christ Central School, Thiruvalla emerged champions in the Kids Category, Providence School, Calicut won the Senior Girls Category, and St. Ephrem’s HSS, Mannanam secured the Senior Boys Category.
